BRYCE AEBI
CPO
Bryce graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Business Management. During a life changing good will trip to Mexico with a family friend, he was exposed to the rewarding field of Prosthetics and Orthotics and never looked back. He earned his Prosthetics and Orthotics certificates from Northwestern University and worked in Fresno for 7 years as a resident and then as a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist before making the move to Sacramento.
As a clinician in O&P, Bryce has been providing orthotic and prosthetic patient care since 2009. His role at River City, which started in 2016, has been more focused on prosthetic patient care. From the initial evaluation to delivering the finished product, he takes the time to determine the best course of action for each individual. This includes collaborating with physicians and patients, sourcing components, taking impressions, oversight of in-house fabrication, fitting and troubleshooting, and on-going follow up.
Bryce’s favorite part of his job is building the devices. At River City, he is able to be very involved in the fabrication process, ensuring optimal quality and fit. He also values his relationships with his patients. Seeing patients succeed is a personal goal. As he says, “The best feeling is watching one of our patients walk into the office on his or her prosthesis after only using a wheelchair for previous appointments.”
In his time away from work, Bryce enjoys spending time with his family. He loves anything with two wheels, especially family bike rides around the neighborhood trails. On almost any Sunday you can find him turning laps at one of the local motocross tracks.
